For decades, WHCA has been a hub for community storytelling through video, television, and local programming. With the launch of Whitman-Hanson Arts Meet Media (WHAM), we’re expanding that mission to include a creative force we’ve only brushed past until now: visual artists.

WHAM isn’t just a gallery. It’s a platform where art becomes media, where the brushstroke meets the broadcast, and where local creativity finds new life through video features, gallery exhibitions, and community events. We’re excited to partner with artists in and around Whitman and Hanson to tell stories that go beyond the canvas and into the heart of our community media center.

We’re always looking for our next creative spotlight.

Whether you’re a painter, illustrator, photographer, digital artist, or create in another visual medium.  If you live in or have strong ties to the Whitman-Hanson area, we’d love to see your work.

Selected artists will:

  • Be featured in our rotating gallery wall at WHCA headquarters

  • Receive exposure on WHCA’s channels, social media, and website

  • Have the option to be interviewed or profiled on-air
